Benjamin pa 100 acres on Gorums Branch of Beach Tree Creek  beginning where Theries lines formerly Wm. Alfords cross’s the sd branch on both sides and off for qu.t.  By part of a 1415 ˝ acres War.t issued to Cornelius McHaney.  June 16, 1783  No. 17176.   Also 15 ˝ acres included Vests Island in Stanton River between the land of John Canafax and John Ward (formerly Jesse Pateys) Beg. At a sycamore stump in the lower end of sd Island then extending about 20 poles into the Rriver on the North side and gor.g in the Ri.
